Hi there! My name is Allison and I’m so glad you’re here.
Writing is a serious joy. Absolute magic. It’s been an undertone of my life in various facets, from high school yearbook, to college research, a classroom full of students, or a 9-5 corporate gig as I relished an inbox awaiting replies. Putting pen to paper is not only therapy and self-expression, but a necessary leap of faith to inspire and encourage decades to come.
A challenging season brought me to my knees, literally, flipping my world upside down along with everything I thought I knew about life as an eager twenty-something. But I’m grateful. The hardest months led me to my dimly lit desk one November night in 2018 where I wrote the first draft of a story: a picture book, Hope the Dog, inspired by my dog, Hope.
I’m a TCU alumna (Go Frogs!) residing in the great state of Texas. You can find me on Twitter when I’m not devouring queso with friends and family, hanging with Hope, reading, shaking at Pure Barre, or spending all my money on fresh flowers.
Thanks for stopping by!
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”-Romans 15:13
